As IONOL LC has an oligomeric structure and it is characterised in particular by its low thermal volatility and low extractability as well as having excellent anti-ageing properties. IONOL LC does not discolour even when exposed to light and in this regard differs from ortho-linked bisphenols. The main use for IONOL LC is the stabilisation of elastomers based on natural and synthetic latex and rubber, ABS, PA, polyolefins, hot melts and lubricants.
