3. Hazards identification |
May cause cancer. Highly flammable. Also toxic: danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure through inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed. |
4. First aid measures |
After inhalation: fresh air. If necessary, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or mechanical ventilation. After skin contact: wash off with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing. After eye contact: rinse out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide open. Summon eye specialist. After swallowing: Avoid vomiting. Risk of aspiration! Laxative: Paraffin oil (3 ml/kg). Sodium sulfate (1 tablespoon/1/4 l water). Summon doctor. Gastric lavage: only in cases of emergency and with utmost caution. Keep airways free. |
