Hazard Highly flammable.
When vapours/aerosols are generated mucosal irritations ( skin , eyes , respiratory tract )
After inhalation of vapours drowsiness , dizziness , nausea , coughing , vomiting In high concentrations: respiratory paralysis , unconsciousness , collapse Inhalation may lead to the formation of oedemas in the respiratory tract.
After swallowing gastric pain , gastrointestinal complaints , respiratory paralysis , unconsciousness , collapse Risk of aspiration upon vomiting.
After long-term exposure to the chemical
After skin contact Severe irritations.

Keep container in a well-ventilated place. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

Accidental release measures / Fire-fighting measures
Person-related precautionary measures Do not inhale vapours/aerosols. Ensure supply of fresh air in enclosed rooms.
Procedures for cleaning / absorption Take up with liquid-absorbent material (e.g. Chemizorb® ). Forward for disposal. Clean up affected area.
Environmental-protection measures Do not allow to enter sewerage system; risk of explosion!
Suitable extinguishing media CO2, foam, powder.

First aid
FIRST AID
After inhalation fresh air. If necessary, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or mechanical ventilation.
After skin contact wash off with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing.
After eye contact rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with the eyelid held wide open. Summon eye specialist.
After swallowing Avoid vomiting. Keep airways free. Summon doctor. Laxative: Paraffin oil (3 ml/kg).
