Hazard / Symptom
Hazard Highly flammable.
After swallowing and inhalation mucosal irritations , lack of appetite , headache
After skin contact Degreasing effect on the skin, possibly followed by secondary inflammation.
After long-term exposure to the chemical Sensitization with allergic manifestations.
Additional informations In high concentrations: salivation , nausea , vomiting , narcosis , respiratory paralysis

Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Do not breathe vapour. Do not empty into drains. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

Accidental release measures / Fire-fighting measures
Person-related precautionary measures Do not inhale vapours/aerosols. Ensure supply of fresh air in enclosed rooms.
Procedures for cleaning / absorption Take up with liquid-absorbent material (e.g. Chemizorb® ). Forward for disposal. Clean up affected area.
Environmental-protection measures Do not allow to enter sewerage system; risk of explosion!
Suitable extinguishing media Powder, foam.

First aid
FIRST AID
After inhalation fresh air. If necessary, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or mechanical ventilation.
After skin contact wash off with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing.
After eye contact rinse out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide open. Summon eye specialist.
After swallowing Caution if victim vomits. Risk of aspiration! Laxative: Paraffin oil (3 ml/kg). Sodium sulfate (1 tablespoon/1/4 l water). No castor oil. No milk. Summon doctor.
