Hazard / Symptom
Hazard	Very toxic by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed. Causes severe burns.
After inhalation of vapours	strongly corrosive damage of respiratory tract Resultant lesions may affectthe following: bronchitis , pneumonia , pulmonary oedema
After skin contact	burns Possible damages: necrosis Tendency of poor wound-healing after penetration of the substance.
After eye contact	Burns. Risk of blindness!

Protective equipments / General working measures

Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible).

Accidental release measures / Fire-fighting measures
Person-related precautionary measures	Do not inhale vapours. Avoid substance contact.
Suitable extinguishing media	In adaption to materials stored in the immediate neighbourhood.
Additional informations	Stop flow of gas, move leaking cylinder to open air if without risk.

First aid

After inhalation	fresh air. If necessary, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or mechanical ventilation. Immediately summon doctor.
After skin contact	wash off with plenty of water. Rinse off with polyethylene glycol 400. Immediately remove contaminated clothing. If necessary, apply compresses thoroughly moistened with 10% calcium gluconate solution.
After eye contact	rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with the eyelid held wide open. Immediately summon eye specialist.
