Hazard / Symptom
Hazard Highly flammable.
When vapours/aerosols are generated mucosal irritations , narcosis
After skin contact Irritations. Degreasing effect on the skin, possibly followed by secondary inflammation. Danger of skin absorption.
After eye contact Irritations.
After absorption of toxic quantities headache , dizziness , drowziness , dyspnoea , unconsciousness , narcosis

Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Do not breathe vapour. Do not empty into drains. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

Accidental release measures / Fire-fighting measures
Person-related precautionary measures Do not inhale vapours/aerosols. Ensure supply of fresh air in enclosed rooms.
Procedures for cleaning / absorption Take up with liquid-absorbent material (e.g. Chemizorb® ). Forward for disposal. Clean up affected area.
Environmental-protection measures Do not allow to enter sewerage system.

First aid
FIRST AID
After inhalation fresh air. If necessary, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or mechanical ventilation.
After skin contact wash off with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing.
After eye contact rinse out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide open. Summon eye specialist.
After swallowing caution if victim vomits. Risk of aspiration! Keep airways free. Summon doctor. Subsequently administer: Paraffin oil (3 ml/kg).
