Hazard / Symptom
Hazard	Toxic by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed. May cause sensitization by skin contact. Very toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
After inhalation	mucosal irritations
After eye contact	Irritations.
After skin contact	Sensitization with allergic manifestationsin predisposed persons. Danger of skin absorption.
After absorption	Risk of methaemoglobin formation with headache, cardiac dysrhythmia, drop in blood pressure, dyspnoea and spasms, principal symptom: cyanosis (blue discoloration of the blood).
Additional informations	Swallowing causes nausea and vomiting.

Protective equipments / General working measures

After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves.
