Hazard / Symptom
Hazard May cause cancer. Extremely flammable. Also harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.
After skin contact Burns.
After eye contact Burns.
Additional informations Swallowing causes nausea and vomiting.
Toxic effect on: liver , kidneys

Accidental release measures / Fire-fighting measures
Person-related precautionary measures Avoid substance contact. Do not inhale vapours/aerosols. Ensure supply of fresh air in enclosed rooms.
Procedures for cleaning / absorption Take up with liquid-absorbent material (e.g. Chemizorb® ). Forward for disposal. Clean up affected area.
Environmental-protection measures Do not allow to enter sewerage system; risk of explosion!
Suitable extinguishing media CO2, powder. Fire extinguisher: carbon dioxide , powder

First aid
FIRST AID
After inhalation fresh air. Apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or mechanical ventilation if necessary. Summon doctor.
After skin contact Rinse off with polyethylene glycol 400. Rewash with plenty of water. Immediately remove contaminated clothing.
After eye contact rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with the eyelid held wide open. Immediately summon eye specialist.
After swallowing make victim drink plenty of water, induce vomiting. Immediately summon doctor.
