Hazard / Symptom
Hazard Toxic if swallowed. Causes burns. Toxic: danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure in contact with skin and if swallowed.

The following applies to organic mercury compounds in general: long-term exposure leads to disorders/damage of the nervous system. Danger of skin absorption. Sensitization with allergic manifestationsin predisposed persons. Pregnant women should not be exposed to the product.

Protective equipments / General working measures

Do not breathe vapour. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable gloves. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible).

Accidental release measures / Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media Water, CO2, foam, powder.
Additional informations Take up with liquid-absorbent material (e.g. Chemizorb® ). Forward for disposal. Clean up affected area. Avoid generation of dusts.

First aid
FIRST AID
After skin contact wash off with plenty of water. Dab with polyethylene glycol 400. Immediately remove contaminated clothing.
After eye contact rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with the eyelid held wide open. Immediately summon eye specialist. After inhalation: fresh air.
After swallowing make the victim drink plenty of water, induce vomiting. Immediately summon doctor.
