Hazard / Symptom
Hazard	Toxic by inhalation. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. Very toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Dangerous for the ozone layer.
After inhalation	pulmonary oedema , pneumonia , cyanosis , CNS disorders ( headache , nausea , spasms ) , narcosis , death Symptoms in: lungs , liver , kidneys Latency time until onset of action.
After contact with substance	Burns of: mucous membranes , eyes , skin Danger of skin absorption.

Protective equipments / General working measures

Keep away from heat. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). Refer to manufacturer/supplier for information on recovery/recycling. Avoid release to the environment. Refer to special instructions/Safety data sheets.

Accidental release measures / Fire-fighting measures
Person-related precautionary measures	Do not inhale vapours. Ensure supply of fresh air in enclosed rooms.
Additional notes	Remove container from danger zone and cool with water.
Suitable extinguishing media	In adaption to materials stored in the immediate neighbourhood.

First aid

After inhalation	fresh air. If necessary, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or mechanical ventilation. Oxygen mask if necessary! Immediately summon doctor.
After skin contact	wash off with plenty of water. Dab with polyethylene glycol 400. Immediately remove contaminated clothing.
After eye contact	rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with the eyelid held wide open. Immediately summon eye specialist.
After swallowing	administer liquid paraffin, avoid vomiting (risk of aspiration!). Immediately summon doctor.
