Hazard / Symptom
Hazard Highly flammable.
After skin contact Degreasing effect on the skin, possibly followed by secondary inflammation.
After absorption of large quantities Drowziness, dizziness, euphoria, excitation, spasms, in certain circumstances narcosis.
Additional informations Swallowing causes nausea and vomiting. Risk of aspiration upon vomiting.

Keep container in a well-ventilated place. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Do not empty into drains. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

Accidental release measures / Fire-fighting measures
Person-related precautionary measures Do not inhale vapours/aerosols. Ensure supply of fresh air in enclosed rooms.
Procedures for cleaning / absorption Take up with liquid-absorbent material (e.g. Chemizorb® ). Forward for disposal. Clean up affected area.
Environmental-protection measures Do not allow to enter sewerage system; risk of explosion!
Suitable extinguishing media Powder, foam. Fire extinguisher: carbon dioxide , powder

First aid
FIRST AID
After inhalation fresh air. If necessary, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or mechanical ventilation.
After skin contact wash off with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing.
After eye contact rinse out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide open.
After swallowing caution if victim vomits. Risk of aspiration! Keep airways free. Subsequently administer: Paraffin oil (3 ml/kg). Sodium sulfate (1 tablespoon/1/4 l water). Immediately summon doctor. No milk. No castor oil.
