1 ของผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ  : การทดสอบในห้องปฏิบัติการจะพบว่า ให้ทำ แบลงค์ ควบคู่ไปด้วย มักจะมีหลอดทดลอง 2 หลอดทำพร้อมๆกัน ใส่ตัวทำละลายและรีเอเจนต์ (สารที่ทำปฏิกริยา)เหมือนกัน ยกเว้นในหลอดแบลงค์ ไม่ใส่สารตัวที่เราจะทดสอบ เพื่อเปรียบเทียบการเปลี่ยนแปลง และสามารถสรุปได้ว่า การเปลี่ยนแปลงนั้นเกิดจากสิ่งที่เราต้องการทดสอบจริงๆ ถ้าทั้งสองหลอดปรากฏผลเหมือนกัน ก็แปลว่า ให้ผลเป็นลบ ถ้ามีการเปลี่ยนแปลงดังคาดและในหลอดแบลงค์ไม่เกิด ก็สรุปได้ว่า ผลการทดสอบเป็นบวก ตัวอย่างเช่น อยากรู้ว่า สารสงสัยเป็นสารที่มีสมบัติไม่อิ่มตัว (unsaturation) หรือเปล่า ดูที่การฟอกสีของโบรมีนในสารละลาย เมื่อมีแบลงค์เทียบ ก็เห็นได้ชัดว่า สีในหลอดทดลองจางลงมากกว่าในหลอดแบลงค์หรือเปล่า หลายคนเข้าใจผิดว่า ให้ใช้น้ำในหลอดแบลงค์ทุกครั้ง ความเข้าใจนี้อันตรายมาก เพราะน้ำอาจทำปฏิกริยากับรีเอเจนต์อย่างรุนแรงได้ หลักการคือ ใส่ตัวทำละลายที่จะไม่ทำปฏิกริยากับสารและรีเอเจนต์นั้นๆ โดย: สุชาตา ชินะจิตร [17 มิ.ย. 2551 12:42] |
