DEHA ไม่ได้เป็นอักษรย่อของสาร Diethyl Hydroxylamine แต่เป็นอักษรย่อมาจาก Diethylhexyl adipate ซึ่งเป็นตัว Plasticizer ที่เพิ่มความยืดหยุ่นให้กับพลาสติกบางอย่าง แต่ตัว Diethyl Hydroxylamine นั้นเป็นสารที่ใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ เช่น เป็นสารป้องกันสีซีดจางในรูปถ่าย ใช้ร่วมในการบำบัดน้ำเพื่อป้องกันการผุกร่อน และเป็นวัตถุดิบใน Silicone sealant และมีกลิ่นฉุนรุนแรงคล้ายแอมโมเนีย ไม่มีการใช้ในการผลิตขวดพลาสติก PET แต่หากมีการใช้ในการผลิตขวดพลาสติก PET และปนเปื้อนสู่น้ำดื่มก็น่าจะสามารถทราบได้ทันทีจากกลิ่น 2. สาร Diethylhexyl adipate ( DEHA ) ไม่มีการใช้ในการผลิตขวดพลาสติก PET และไม่ได้เป็นวัตถุดิบ หรือผลพลอยได้จากกระบวนการผลิต ( By - Product ) หรือสารที่ได้จากการย่อยสลายของขวด PET แต่อย่างใด แต่มีการใช้ในการผลิตแผ่นฟิล์มพลาสติกจำพวก PVC ( Polyvinyl Chloride ) ที่ใช้ในการหุ้มห่ออาหาร ซึ่งสามารถแพร่กระจายสู่ผู้บริโภคอาหารได้ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งอาหารที่ไขมันสูง เช่น เนื้อสัตว์ และเนยแข็ง แต่เป็นไปในปริมาณที่น้อยมาก จนไม่สามารถก่อให้เกิดพิษต่อร่างกายได้เลย 3. สาร Diethylhexyl adipate ( DEHA ) เป็นสารที่ International Agency for Research on Cancer ( IARC ) จัดอยู่ในประเภทสารที่ไม่ก่อให้เกิดมะเร็งในมนุษย์ ( Not classified as to its carcinogenicity to humans ) 4. ทางอีเมลดังกล่าวได้ระบุว่าน้ำดื่มที่บรรจุในขวด PET มีโอกาสปนเปื้อนด้วย DEHA นั้นอาจมีสาเหตุมาจากการพบ DEHA ในน้ำดื่มก็ได้ จากการทดลองของ Dr. M. Kohler ( Swiss Federal Laboratories for MaterialsTesting and Research, June 2003 ) พบว่ามีการปนเปื้อนของ DEHA อยู่ในน้ำดื่มบรรจุขวดจริง แต่การปนเปื้อนดังกล่าวนั้นจะเป็นการปนเปื้อนอยู่ในน้ำดื่มเอง เนื่องจากพบ DEHA ในน้ำดื่มที่บรรจุขวดแก้วด้วย อย่างไรก็ตามการปนเปื้อนของ DEHA ในน้ำดื่มบรรจุขวด PET ที่ทดสอบโดย Dr. M. On-screen high velocity gives a feel of actually being there and racing with top drivers as seen in TV. Adrenaline spikes are numerous. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a strong 8. List of features is almost mind-boggling, so is its replayability. Outrunning the leaderboards really caughts you and you're instantly drawn in. It really reminds me of Fast and Furious.
